Afrikan Chew Stick For Dental and Medicinal Purposes

Across sub-Saharan Africa you will find people chewing on sticks and twigs, this is nature’s toothbrush. Users say that the sticks are more natural, cheaper, effective and medicinal than their plastic store bought counterparts and science is beginning to back them up. They come in a variety of types with different medicinal properties, good for stomach, good for your head, easing toothaches, etc.

Their users say the sticks are also medicinal, providing not just dental hygiene but also curing a variety of other ills. Dental experts agree they seem to clean teeth well and some up-market health stores in the United States have been selling chew-sticks as a natural form of dental care. "It's good for your stomach and your head ... it whitens your teeth and gets rid of bad breath," said Abedis Sauda, a Senegalese street vendor. Traders in Dakar and other Senegalese cities sell neat bundles of the pencil-sized sticks, usually about 6inches long, on the pavement, offering a variety of different types of wood at different prices. "There are several documented studies which suggest that the cleaning sticks are at least as effective as normal toothbrushes and paste in maintaining routine oral health," Christine D. Wu, Professor and Associate Dean for Research at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, told Reuters. She said some laboratory studies indicated plants from which some of the sticks in Africa are cut contain protective anti-microbial compounds that act against the bacteria in the mouth which cause tooth decay and gum disease. Our Family: The Dogon Tribe

Dogon

The Dogon are a cliff dwelling people who live in Southeastern Mali and Burkina Faso. Among the people groups in Africa they are unique in that they have kept and continued to develop their own culture even in the midst of Islamic invasions that have conquered and adapted many of the current people groups.

Dogon artwork is well known for its masks, which are used in various ceremonies and rituals. The masks are known as “inima”, and are believed to contain the life force that is known as “nyama”. There are over 65 different kinds of masks used for ceremonies. Also famous is the Dogon woodwork, which is known for the different “primitive” look that has disappeared from many African pieces. The Dogon use mainly red, black, and white colors as well as many varieties of browns developed from the reddish sand-like dirt which surrounds the country. Dogon artwork is all intricately hand carved and has much cultural significance.

Until the 1930’s the Dogon were very insulated from the outside world and resisted any foreign influence. Through oral tradition it is said that they originated from the west bank of the Niger River, around 1490 A.D. They were fleeing from the Mossi people and entered the Bandiagara cliffs region. There they have lived ever since. Because of their refuge in the cliffs they were able to resist the Muslims, the French, and others who have attempted to conquer them.

The Dogon are divided into family groups that are responsible for different spheres of Dogon life. The Awa society is responsible for much of the spiritual functions of Dogon culture concerning death and mourning periods; they communicate with the ancestor spirits. The Lebe are the group responsible for the agricultural spirits. They build many different alters out of clay and dirt.

Kwa Zulu

The Zulu of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa belong to the larger Nguni linguistic group whose origin is lost in an oral tradition that precedes recorded history. The Nguni are divided into two large segments, North and South. The Xhosa, Pondo and Thembu of the Eastern Cape, are major representatives of the South Nguni, while the Zulu, the Swazi of Swaziland and the Ndbele are of the Northern Nguni.

Some of those who settled in northern KwaZulu-Natal doubled back into what is now Swaziland, while those who first entered the Transkei were the forebears of the Pondo. The last to leave the Limpopo settled for a while in what is now the south-eastern region of the Mpumalanga province, then moved on in easy stages into central KwaZulu-Natal. Finding the north-east and north-west already occupied, two smaller groups moved on. One of these, finding the coastal regions of the south settled by the Pondo, kept to the inland high ground, to become the Xhosa. The other of the two smaller groups found a home as the coastal neighbours of the Pondo to become the Thembu of today.

The final Nguni migration populated the heart of KwaZulu-Natal where the small and unimportant Zulu clan was later to succeed the Ndwandwe and Mthetwa empires respectively in the north-west and north-east. Under their famous chief, Shaka, they became the rulers of KwaZulu-Natal from the Tugela River in the south to the border of Mozambique in the north. Shaka was assassinated in 1828 by his half-brother, Dingane.

A long line of descen- dants link these historic figures with the current royal house headed by King Goodwill Zwelethini

Before the nineteenth century, “Zulu” was the clan name of the kings of a small kingdom, which was tributary to the Mthethwa kingdom. Beginning around 1815, the Zulu kingdom displaced the Mthethwa kingdom and conquered dozens of other nearby small kingdoms which gradually took on Zulu identity on top of older local identities.

Shaka Zulu
Probably the most famous southern African in history is Shaka Zulu (1785-1828), known for his peerless leadership of the Zulu clan. He was a fierce and militaristic king, contributing to the murder of a million people. Shaka’s mother was a child of a deceased chieftain of the Elangeni clan and her name was Nandi. Shaka’s father was a chieftain of the small, then unknown Zulu clan and his name was Senzangakona. An out of wedlock pregnancy and a failed marriage forced Nandi to return to her tribe, but she was less welcomed there then with the Zulus. Shaka grew up fatherless among people who despised his mother and him. He was made the butt of every cruel joke and ridiculed about his body. He grew up lonely and bitter with his only companion being his mother, whose life also was miserable. The intelligent and naturally sensitive boy knew of his royal blood and the origins of his tormentors. He harbored great hatred for them till his death.

At the age of 23, he was called to serve as a Mtetwa warrior and did so for the next six years. In battle, he found an outlet for his pent-up frustrations and developed his political policy. He saw battle as the one safe method of political growth and was never satisfied with a clan’s submission before being taken to war. He fought for total annihilation. He also developed a brutal and fatal weapon called the ‘iKlwa’.

Shaka worked the Zulu warriors rigorously, treating them as clay for his molding. He punished the sign of slightest hesitation with death, commanded his army to become celibate except for those already wed, placed them under one roof but separated them in specialty regiments, made weapons from scratch and instilled in the warriors the same fighting spirit he had. He spared himself no luxury of a true king. He had now reshaped what had been the unknown Zulus.

The first people he attacked were the eLangeni clan. From them, he only spared those who showed him and his mother kindness. Then he went on and destroyed the Butelezi clan, leaving few survivors. He took the Butelezi maidens and formed them in a seraglio, which eventually numbered to 1,200 women. He never referred to them as his ‘wives’, which is what they would have normally been, but as his ‘sisters’. He claimed offspirng were undesirable because they might someday oppose him, so he would only engage in ukuHlobonga. It is probable, due to his character in every other aspect, that he never managed to consummate a full relationship with any of these women.

By 1817, the Zulu territories had quadrupled. In that autumn, word got to Shaka that his stepfather lay dying. He returned to bid him good-bye. He then met with the Mtetwa chief, Dingiswayo, and they decided to engage in a major expedition that would take over much of Southeast Africa. That year, Dingiswayo died and battles between major clans began to take over the Mtetwa Empire. By 1820, Shaka had won and commanded most of southeast Africa and Natal.

In 1824, Europeans had arrived at Natal post and visited Shaka. During this visit, Shaka was stabbed by enemy clans and was treated by the Europeans. Shaka held these Europeans in high regard. He signed over land to them not knowing he had actually given it away. The Europeans aided Shaka in his wars to conquer more of South Africa. While on a hunt with Europeans, word came to Shaka that his mother lay dying. In grief, Shaka ordered several men executed but in the chaos, over 7,000 people died. Shaka practically ordered his clan to death by starvation in reverence to his mother.

After three months, order was finally restored, but the seed of anguish against Shaka had been sowed. Shaka and his army began to go downhill as Shaka seemed to increasingly lose touch with reality. On September 22nd, 1828, this once great ‘king’ and warrior of Africa was murdered. His half brothers from his father repeatedly stabbed him to death. They took the body and threw it in an empty grain pot, which then was filled with stones.

This ended the 12-year rule of ‘King Shaka’. He was believed to be 41 years old at his death. His legacy, to this day, still echoes and lives on.

The Anglo-Zulu War
The war was provoked by an unwarranted act of British aggression. The Zulu kingdom had first emerged early in the nineteenth century, with its heartland lying along the eastern seaboard of southern Africa, north of modern Durban. Within a few years, British adventurers were attracted to Zululand in search of trade and profit, and by the 1840s a British colony - Natal - had sprung up on the southern borders of Zululand. By the 1870s, the British had begun to adopt a ‘forward policy’ in the region, hoping to bring the various British colonies, Boer republics and independent African groups under common control, with a view to implementing a policy of economic development.

The British High Commissioner in South Africa, Sir Henry Bartle Frere, believed that the robust and economically self-reliant Zulu kingdom was a threat to this policy. In December 1878 he picked a quarrel with the Zulu king, Cetshwayo kaMpande, in the belief that the Zulu army - armed primarily with shields and spears - would soon collapse in the face of British Imperial might. The war began in January 1879. Three columns of British troops under the command of Lt. Gen. Lord Chelmsford invaded Zululand. Almost immidiately, the war went badly wrong for the British.

On 22 January, the Centre Column, under Lord Chelmsford’s personal command, was defeated at Isandlwana mountain. In one of the worst disasters of the Colonial era, over 1300 British troops and their African allies were killed. In the aftermath of Isandlwana, the Zulu reserves mounted a raid on the British border post at Rorke’s Drift, which was held by just 145 men. After ten hours of ferocious fighting, the Zulu were driven off. Eleven of the defenders of Rorke’s Drift were awarded the Victoria Cross. The British flanking columns also saw action that same day.

The success at Isandlwana exhausted the Zulu army, however, and Cetshwayo was unable to mount a counter-offensive into Natal. This gave Lord Chelmsford time to regroup. British troops were rushed to South Africa from around the Empire. By the end of March the war was poised to enter a new phase. Lord Chelmsford assembled a column to march to the relief of Eshowe, and directed the commander of the Left Flank Column - Sir Evelyn Wood - to make a diversionary attack. Wood’s men attacked a local Zulu stronghold - Hlobane mountain - on 28 March, but were surprised by the unexpected arrival of the main Zulu army, and scattered. The following day, however, the Zulu attacked Wood’s camp at Khambula, and after several hours of heavy fighting, were driven off. Meanwhile Lord Chelmsford had crossed into Zululand, marching towards Eshowe.

On 2nd April he broke through the Zulu cordon around Eshowe at kwaGingindlovu, and relieved Pearson’s column. The defeat of the Zulu king’s forces in two actions, at either end of the country, and within days of each other, demoralised the Zulu, and proved to be the turning point of the war. Lord Chelmsford reorganised his forces, and in late May was poised to mount a new invasion of Zululand. This, too, began badly, when, on 1 June, the exiled Prince Imperial of France, Louis Napoleon, who was serving with the British in an unofficial capacity, was killed in a skirmish.

Nevertheless, British troops continued to advance towards the Zulu capital, Ulundi, which they reached at the end of June. On 4 July Chelmsford defeated the Zulu army in the last great battle of the war. Ulundi was put to the torch, and King Cetshwayo fled. Chelmsford resigned after the victory at Ulundi, but it took several weeks for the British to suppress lingering resistence in the outlying districts. King Cetshwayo was eventually captured and sent into exile at Cape Town. The British divided his country up among thirteen pro-British chiefs - a deliberately divisive move which led to a decade of destructive civil war.

Colonization
White colonization began in the 1830s, when the Zulu kingdom was still quite new. White conquest took decades. Many chiefdoms remained in the independent Zulu kingdom while others came under the British colony of Natal. Many people and chiefs only recently conquered by the Zulu kingdom fled into Natal, rejecting political Zulu identity, although retaining cultural affinity. But as all Zulu-speaking people came under white South African rule, and as white rule became more oppressive, evolving into apartheid, the Zulu identity and memories of the powerful independent kingdom became a unifying focus of cultural resistance.

Under South African rule, the term “tribe” referred to an administrative unit governed by a chief under rules imposed by the white government. Tribes were thus not ancient and traditional, but modern bureaucratic versions of the old small kingdoms. Yet the Zulu people or nation was also referred to as a tribe by whites. Thus the Zulu “tribe” was composed of several hundred tribes.

With apartheid, the government fostered ethnic nationalism or tribalism to divide Africans, claiming that segregated, impoverished land reserves ("homelands") could become independent countries. Conversely, when the African National Congress (ANC) formed in 1912, it saw tribalism -divisive ethnic politics- as an obstacle to creating a modern nation. But it saw diverse linguistic, cultural and political heritages as sources of strength. The new nation had to be built by extending and uniting historic identities, not by negating them.

Since the 1980s severe conflict between followers of the ANC and followers of the largely Zulu-based Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) has killed tens of thousands of people. Sometimes portrayed as reflecting primitivism and ancient tribal rivalries, this violence illustrates how “tribe” misleads.

Most of the conflict has been Zulu people fighting other Zulu people in the province of KwaZulu-Natal. There are complicated local causes related to poverty and patronage politics, but the fighting is also about what Zulu ethnic or national identity should be in relation to South African national identity. Zulu people are deeply divided over what it means to be Zulu.

In the early 1990s the violence spread to the Johannesburg area and often took the ethnic form of Zulu IFP followers vs. Xhosa ANC followers. Yet this was not an ancient tribal conflict either, since historically the independent Zulu and Xhosa nations never fought a war. Rather it was a modern, urban, politicised ethnic conflict.

On the one side, the IFP has continually stressed its version of Zulu identity. Also, since the ANC has followers in all ethnic groups, as the 1994 elections showed, neighbourhoods with many Xhosa residents may have been specifically targeted in order to falsely portray the ANC as a “Xhosa” organization. On the other side, the ANC at the time tried to isolate the IFP in a way that many ordinary Zulu people saw as anti-Zulu, making them fearful. As has been recently confirmed, the apartheid regime’s police and military were actively involved in covert actions to instigate the conflict.

The IFP relies heavily on symbols of “tradition.” But to see that as making Zulu identity “tribal” obscures other realities: the IFP’s modern conservative market-oriented economic policy; the deep involvement of all Zulu in an urban-focused economy, with half living permanently in cities and towns; the modern weapons, locations and methods of the violence, and the fact that even as the IFP won the rural vote in the most recent elections, a strong majority of urban Zulu-speakers voted ANC.

MAMA AFRIKA~ DEEP in her WOMB

RE: MAMA AFRIKA~ DEEP in her WOMB... the CRADLE of CIVILIZATION*

the divine mother by credoThe January 11, 1988 issue of Time Magazine's cover story stated once more the scholars agree that the plains of Africa which now comprise the still growing Sahara Desert was indeed the Garden of Eden about 200,000 years ago. The January 16, 1989 issue of the Honolulu Star Bulletin had a little article about an anthropologist named Wilson who claimed his genetic research showed that the capacity for language was traced to a single woman who lived in Africa 200,000 years ago. Her descendants supplanted all other humans who lived in Asia and Europe within the next 20,000 years. The more you study history and ultimately anthropology the more you become aware of the many vast mass migrations of people which have taken place many times over the continents. Dr. Louis Leake and others have proven within the last generation that all of humanity and the first burst of civilization traces back to the Oldavai gorge of Eastern Africa, the upper Nile.

As late as 1906 A.D. fresco art work was discovered inside rock caves in the heart of the now barren Sahara which proved through people, societies and game animals thriving on the then verdant (green) plains of the Sahara desert, years old lie under the sands at Meroe, Axum, Zimbabwe, Timbuktu and other places now part of the desert.

There are even some who say the Druids, builders of Stonehenge and Pics, who inhabited The British Isles thousands of years before the Celtic, Anglo-Saxon and Norman conquests were dark of skin and African in origin.

Certainly one of many reasons Prime Minister Tanaka is ignorant of the vast millennia of African history is because Julius Caesar's troops burned the huge and unbelievably ancient Egyptian state library in Alexandria Egypt while Julius was wooing Cleopatra there in the third century B.C.

Typically, when Hollywood did the movie Liz Taylor got to play Cleopatra instead of Pam Grear or Cicely Tyson. Many of the troops who fought with Caesar in his subjugation of the British Isles in 350 B.C. were Ethiopian, as was the General he left in charge when he returned to Rome. Some say one of the reasons Caesar was assassinated was because his only blood heirs were his two sons by Cleopatra, who as the saying goes was "Black and comely".

What incredible but true histories, poems, genealogies, mathematical theories and astrological discoveries were destroyed by Caesar's drunken hoards that

It is said the Egyptian Pharaonic empire began to form around 5,000 B.C. and arose to its fullest flower around 3500 B.C.. The largest Pyramids and the Sphinx were built then by warrior pharaohs who dominated the countries around Egypt at the time. Ancient Greece is the commonly accepted cradle of "Western "Civilization" and it is now very interesting to read, in the ancient Greek what the Greek writers said of the major influences upon their culture. Diodorus Sikeliotes of Sicily wrote in 50 B.C.

"Now the Ethiopians (Africans) as historians relate were the first of all men" and the proof of this statement is manifestly proven in the history written in that time, which also established that the Egyptians were actually colonists send down the Nile from the Ethiopian (African) nations of the interior of Africa around 5500 B.C.. The mathematical theorems for their pyramids and their system of gods and ancestor worship they brought with them from the ancient Empires of the upper Nile and then green Sahara plains.

Even today pyramids and monuments of architecture similar to the Egyptian pyramids may to seen among the growing sand dunes in Meroe 2000 miles west of Egypt

NUBIAN TAHARQAHerodotus of Helicarnassus wrote 10 volumes of world histories around 450 B.C. The second one deals at length with his lengthy journey to Egypt, where all Greek scholars had to study in those days before they could call themselves truly learned. Aristotle wrote "Egypt was the cradle of mathematics". Pythagoras spent 21 years in Egypt before returning the Greece to teach geometry.

The great pyramids of Gizeh was already 2000 years old then and built with exacting mathematical precision. One had but to gaze upon the exquisite solid gold mask of the boy king Tutankhamen for three seconds to know by the lips and the nose that was a "brother" in the solid gold casket. The Egyptian royal tombs were repositories of vast wealth in art, jewels and bullion.

Africa

The South African government passed a statute making illegal for a black man to own a gold mine there for the first time in 1872. Prior to that, of course Africans had mined the substance for many millennia. Mansa Munsa Emperor of Mali in 1328 A.D., which encompassed present day Senegal, Mali and Sudan carried and dispensed so much gold on his legendary pilgrimage from Timbuktu to Mecca that he caused inflation in every country he passed through. All 60,000 men in his entourage carried golden staffs, it is said. He returned to Timbuktu with architects to expand the university there, which thrived in literature, law and medicine until the Berbers sacked and razed the city in 1520 A.D.

RE: Afrikan Slave Castle

Some will say that slaves didn't come from Afrika or at least not as many as reported. They were shipped from the Americas to Afrika and beyond. Others will tell them to go and ask an Afrikan about the history instead of reading a book written by people that have NEVER stepped foot on the Motherland.

Oral tradition has proven such statements to be uneducated at best. I am still evolving.......

Sudan Means "Land of the Blacks"....Nubia
The name Sudan comes etymologically from the Arabic Bilad as-Sudan, "Land of the Blacks", a term originally referred to most of the Sahel region. That term previously had servile connotation. Nevertheless, history has demonstrated that no single racial or ethnic group has a monopoly on human creativity and initiative especially in a world of increasingly fluid mobility. Since religion and ethnicity have been so significant in defining communal identity in Sudan, issues such as racial discrimination and disparity in wealth distribution and power sharing between the hegemonic elites from the Northern region and the rest of the population, have been seen by many as inseparable from them. One would wonder how best Sudanese national identity can be restructured.

The Amazing Gold Gardens

The Amazing Gold Gardens

Ancient Inca Civilization

When the Spanish conquerors entered Peru, they came upon an
island near Puna on which was a royal garden so astonishing it
might have come out of a fairy tale.

Every living thing was reproduced in gold and silver models. Trees,
even to the roots, and lesser plants with leaves, flowers and fruit
fashioned in natural size and style; some ready to sprout, others halfgrown
or in full blossom.

Golden birds sat perched on silver trees, as if singing, while others
were flying and sucking honey from flowers.

Whole fields of maize were imitated—roots, stalk, flowers and cob;
the beard of the husk in gold, the rest in silver. Other plants were
similarly treated—a flower or anything of a yellow tint in real life was
done in gold, the other parts in silver. From the trees hung nuggets
of fruit.

Nothing remained uncopied: rabbits, foxes, mice, lizards, lions,
tigers, stags, snakes. All were set in their natural surroundings to
enhance reality.

And as if that were not enough, golden butterflies flitted around in the
breeze.

Life-size fish, ropes, hampers, baskets, bins and even woodpiles for
burning were all fashioned in gold and silver, soldered together.
Such gardens, would you believe, graced all royal residences
throughout the land. The others were disassembled before the
treasure-lusting invaders could reach them. So carefully were these
artefacts hidden, that they have never been found.

Regretfully, most of that upon which the invaders did lay their hands
was melted down for shipment to Europe. So vanished an
unbelievably precise metal technology.

But the Incas were heirs to a much earlier culture . . . As I see it, the
evidence for an advanced knowledge of metallurgy in the remote
past is irrefutable. An abundance of precious metals in earlier times
enabled many items in common use to bear an aesthetic superiority
to our own. Thus we see finely worked gold and silver fumiture,
eating utensils, garden tools and even footwear. There were
bathtubs of gold and silver, fed by water pipes of silver and gold.
The Spanish conquistadors (who conquered the ancient Inca empire)
reported that in a temple at Cuzco they were breathless when they
beheld an image of solid gold inlaid with emeralds and other gems
which covered a total wall of 50 feet! When struck by the rays of the
real sun, this false sun brilliantly illuminated the interior of the
building. It also caught the moonlight.)

Near modern day Lima in Peru, the temples of Pachacamak were
fastened with gold nails that were found to weigh a ton.
The early Greeks recorded that ships calling at Tartessus found
silver so plentiful that on the retum joumey they substituted silver
anchors for their leaden ones.

Montezuma of the Aztecs never ate twice from the same gold or
silver plate!

The value of the gold used in the construction of Solomon’s Temple
and its contents was, at current exchange rates, in excess of 3 billion
dollars! Whatever happened to all the gold?
THEY ARE LOOKING FOR IT NOW. ALL EYES ARE ON AFRIKA!!!!>

The Time Dilation

The Time Dilation effect is now an accepted scientific fact.

Astronauts flying at close to the speed of light would age more slowly
than their friends on earth.

The reason is that the space traveller’s
heartbeat, the decay of the cells of his body and his other
physiological processes would slow down.

Scientists can calculate accurately the extent to which time would
slow down on a spaceship travelling at close to the speed of light.

Time would appear to pass normally, yet in just a few years the
travellers would reach the most distant stars.

After twenty-one years on the spaceship, they could be in the heart
of the Milky Way—while on earth 75,000 light years had passed!
But notice.

The theory of relativity (of space and time) was
apparently known to our early forefathers.

Lucretius, Heraclitis and Zeno each postulated aspects of this
principle. It was also known in India.

A Japanese love story incorporates the fact of time dilation in space
travel.

The Island Child went into the skies for 3 years, but found on
his return to his earthly home that 300 years had passed there.

’
The Slavic version of the Book of Enoch (reflecting very ancient
origins) narrates the story of a space trip which for the hero lasted
only a few days, while on earth whole centuries passed.

The Vision of Isaiah (second to third century A.D.

) speaks of a space
trip to heaven.

When told it was time to return to earth, the traveller
asked in surprise, ‘Why so soon? I have been here only two hours.

"
The angel replied, ‘Not two hours but 32 years.

" Isaiah now feared
he would suffer old age and death if he returned, but he was assured
that upon his return to earth he would not have aged.

These ancient people were not hallucinating.

If our astronauts could
travel close to the speed of light, they would experience a
comparable shrinkage of time.

This we now accept as scientifically
valid.

Modern science is today stumbling upon discoveries known to an
ancient forgotten science.

Ancient Phoenicians in Australia

1. Phoenicians in Australia

It was late in 2000. Scientists in Australia were rocked. ABC News
had just announced the discovery of a 3,000 year old mine and
harbour on the Queensland coast near Sarina. “This is set to change
Australian, if not world history,” said the report.
Resident Val Osborne had been studying the site for 10 years. He
noted that Freshwater Point, once an island and now an isthmus,
bore striking similarities to the ancient port of Tyre. Ruins of old sea
walls, wharves, mines, graves, plus other artefacts as well as
inscriptions, all suggested a uniquely Phoenician colony, dating from
about 1000 B.C.

Egyptian Ancient Art

A preliminary report on the Sarina discovery from the Sarina Shire
Council states:
“Egyptian, Hebrew, Phoenician and Ogham scripts are documented
from sites all over Australia along with constructions, harbours and
roads.” But these have been “ignored in the face of official Australian
history and British policies.” “It is expected that academic
controversy will occur in any future investigation.”
The Sarina find, if Val Osborn is right (as he appears to be) sustains
my position in two of my books on ancient discoveries, where I argue
that the Phoenicians established outposts on the Australian coast
about 3,000 years ago – as well as across the Pacific, as far as the
Americas.

Cover-up attempt

Val Osborne revealed to my friend and colleague Vada Kum Yuen
of Mareeba, North Queensland that the Queensland University sent
an archaeologist to the site with instructions that he come back with
a report that “there is nothing there”!!!
I constantly meet this attitude from the entrenched education system.
And forgive me but I just have to ask this question: What are they
afraid of? Why do they want to control what you and I hear?
Let me assure you, there IS physical evidence! And it also backs up
the Old Testament story about Hiram, King of Tyre (of the
Phoenicians) in partnership with King Solomon of Israel. According
to the story, they sent ships on 3 year voyages around the world to a
place called “Ophir”, to collect gold and other materials for the
fabulous temple being built in Jerusalem.

Noble Drew Ali was born Timothy Drew Jan. 8, 1886. He returned to the Essence July 20 1929 his remains are located in Chicago’s Burr Oak cemetery. There are many accounts regarding Noble Drew’s parentage. One account says his mother was Cherokee Indian and his father was Moroccan, another states his parents were ex slaves, and yet another claimed his father was a Moabite and his mother a Canaanite.

At any rate, sometime around or a little while after his 7th birthday, he was adopted and raised by Cherokee Indians
wife of spotted-tail

.

Noble Drew manifested in Simpson North Carolina, the city was Greenville (not to be confused with Greensville or Greeneville), the county of Pitt. Drew was born near a mysterious triangle of Moorish sounding locations, to the northeast of Greenville there in lies Mooresville North Carolina to the northwest lies Morristown Tennessee and Morganton N.C. This area is not where Drew was raised (western N.C.). Which is the mountainous terrain that many so-called renegade Cherokees escaped during the “Trail of Tears”. In 1839 President Andrew Jackson signed the Indian removal Act to relocate the western tribes west of the Mississippi River. Cherokees would flee to northwest N.C. to escape capture. Interesting enough to the south of Simpson N.C. there is a crossroads called Ham’s. The prophet Noble Drew Ali was a man of small stature and medium in complexion and skin tone. Drew has been described as a self-taught man of eloquence and urban savvy.

Noble Drew’s teachings appealed to me because the teachings did not come from one doctrine. Studying the teaching of Drew Ali I was personally brought to an education outside of the mainstream educational system. His teachings stimulated me in the direction of esoteric disciplines (Theosophy, Hermeticism, Rosicrucianism, Sufism, Alchemy, Freemasonry etc.). Noble Drew Ali didn’t have much of a conventional education; which was a blessing, he didn’t have to deal with the obvious contradictions with mainstream his-story and the story of the Moors/Muurs. Until Drew Ali compiled his special teachings, some of which is found in the “Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ” and “Unto Thee I Grant” the Moors and the larger aboriginal community had no real concept of the Christ’s life between the ages of 12 and 30. Nor did they have a sense of their true self and identity.

Noble Drew has often been accredited with bringing Islam to North America. I believe he is that and much more. Nobel Drew brought North American Moors (aboriginals) a new way of thinking. He opened doors to other knowledge centers that weren’t necessarily Christian in it’s doctrine, when Drew implored recognition and respect for Muhammed, Christ, Confucius, Buddha and all the Prophets on his nationality cards, it brought about a certain awareness to other cultures and sciences (namely the Moroccan Empire). Noble Drew’s Masonic background illuminated esoteric avenues the people might never have found. So it was not just Islam only, but for all the higher sciences. He brought about the awareness of self (know thy self and the Father God Allah). Drew made people realize it is your responsibility to maintain good health, he did this through his Moorish Manufacturing Corporation, Drew produced the Moorish Bath Compound, herbal tea, and Moorish Mineral and Healing Oil. The products mentioned I have personally used, with successful results. I believe these elixirs are the epitome of science in the physical world. The Manufacturing Corporation provided jobs for Moorish Americans; this was one of Drew Ali’s plans.

Noble Drew always had the best interests of humanity in mind. Drew established the Young People’s Moorish National League and the Moorish National Sisters auxiliary, both established in 1928. Noble Drew in his creed doctrine states “When ye separate into the world remember the relationship that bindeth you to love, and unity and prefer not a stranger before thy own blood. If thy brothers in adversity assist him, if thy sisters in trouble forsake her not. So shall the fortune of thy father be contributed to the support of his whole race, and his care be continued to you all your love to each other”. Noble Drew provided a platform that encouraged establishment of collectively owned small businesses, and other ventures in strengthening the economic wherewithal of the Moors. This manifested in grocery stores, coffee shops, laundromats, restaurants, variety stores, grocery stores, and shoe repair shops. This sounds simple but in the year 2004 we have very little in the way of small businesses; it seems like all we do is consume. Noble Drew lived through the Jim Crow Laws, prejudice and discrimination (there was said to be over 1800 reported lynchings between 1891 and 1911). Drew passed on to the next realm the same year the Great Depression began (1929). This is why he made the statement “It takes finance to uplift a nation” Noble Drew’s original Temple in Newark New Jersey preceded World War I by one year. Nobel Drew believed adults should reach the youth as early as possible with activities to keep their minds occupied with something positive. In our days of cut funds for youth programs, we can see why the youth of today has run amok. Drew believed the making of upright youths makes for upright adults.
